On June 6, cyber security stakeholders were invited to the CYSPA event in London, organised by TechUK and BAE Systems Applied Intelligence.

This event focused on "European cyber security and industrial risks”
- and invited stakeholders to act as Advisors for CYSPA and encouraged new organisations to be part of the Alliance. Attendees learned more about the level of risk of cyber attacks and received information about solutions to reduce it.

On June 30, TNO organised the Dutch launch of the European Cyber Security Protection Alliance (CYSPA) in The Hague at the Hague Security Delta Campus. The theme of the event is "The International dimension of Cyber Security ".
Attendees were given the opportunity to learn about CYSPA, learn about international cyber developments and discuss about the future direction of the CYSPA Alliance and network with peers from government, industry and knowledge institutes.

On September 23, Fraunhofer, in collaboration with IBM and UPM, organised the German launch of the European Cyber Security Protection Alliance (CYSPA) in Berlin at the European Institute of Technology and Innovation (EIT) ICT Labs . The theme of the event was "Cyber Security in Germany and Europe: An actual Overview for Industry and Public Sector Organisations". The event was organised in partnership with the German Alliance for Cyber Security (Allianz für Cyber Sicherheit).
This launch event not only gave attendees the opportunity to learn about CYSPA but also provided practical insights into the European collaboration on cyber security, into actual trends, important organisations and sources of information as well as into freely available offerings for German industry and organisations (e.g. risk assessments, certification schemes or guidance on cyber self protection).

Article published after CYSPA launch event in Berlin
On December 4, Thales Services and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGC&S) organised the French Launch of the European Cyber Security Protection Alliance (CYSPA) in Paris, hosted by Thales Services.
This event focused on "Cyber security insurance : a new perspective on Cyber Risk analysis” - and invited stakeholders to act as Advisors for CYSPA and encouraged new organisations to be part of the Alliance. Attendees were first presented with the feedback analysis of Thales Incident Response Team from real-case cyber crises. Secondly, AGC&S and Thales Services provided the audience with a joint perspective on “How to be prepared for a Cyber Crisis”.
