CYSPA stand at the CSP Innovation Forum in Brussels!

CYSPA attended The Cybersecurity & Privacy (CSP) Innovation Forum 2015 organised by the European Commission, DG CNECT (Unit H4 Trust & Security) and the CSP Forum on April 28-29 in Brussels.

Together with representatives from the Industry, academics, policy makers and business investors CYSPA networked and discussed on the real Cyber Security & Privacy research success stories, future upcoming challenges/research priorities and opportunities for investment stemming from mature research activities.

This event included DG CNECT H2020 informational sessions relating to 'Digital Security: Cybersecurity, Privacy & Trust' calls in 2015, and hot topical technical track sessions on challenges and issues in the Cybersecurity and Privacy Domain. (Event Supported by A4Cloud, ATTPS,IPACSO,PRIPARE,SecCord , SECURED, & TREsPASS projects).

What is CYSPA?
  • CYSPA is an initiative set up by 17 organisations from across industry and research, aiming to create a European Alliance to protect cyberspace for industry;
  • CYSPA’s goal is to increase the capacity of industry to protect itself from cyber disruptions;
  • While the CYSPA community is grounded in the EU, its aim is to extend its outreach at international level;
  • Starting from the initial CYSPA partnership, our aim is to expand towards an alliance of EU stakeholders working together to increase the capacity of industry to protect itself from cyber disruptions. 
  • CYSPA creates an Alliance for EU stakeholders working together to articulate, embody and deliver the concrete actions needed to reduce cyber disruption.
CYSPA is set up with the initial financial support of its founding members as well as the European Commission research programme FP7 in ICT Trust & Security.
